Edinburgh University, Hills Business Park

 

 

This project involved the reconfiguration and refurbishment of an existing business unit to bring it up to a lettable standard. The works included:

  • Installation of new roller shutter door to Vehicle Access

  • Adaptations to services at high level for new lighting layout

  • Making good existing partitions and ceiling grids

  • Installation of new lighting to ceiling grids

  • Decoration throughout

  • New floor paint

  • Installation of new floor finishes

  • Install new carpet floor finishes

  • Installation of glazed partition systems

  • Installation of bi-fold partition

  • Installation of secondary glazing to windows

  • Construction of a ramp to staircase in one room

  • Refurbishment of toilets and shower rooms

  • Refurbishment of kitchen

  • Upgrading existing internal corridor fire doors

  • Alterations to the electrical services in the Motor & Switch Room.

  • Servicing and repairs to A/C units and ventilation

  • Repairs and servicing to goods and passenger lift

  • Re-commissioning and testing of ventilation and heating services

  • Envelope works

  • External works including replacing damaged paving slabs, redecoration to generator & oil tank areas and new & replacement line markings
