McDonalds, Cleethorpes

 

This project involved the refurbishment of an existing McDonald’s restaurant to a new livery and design “Restaurant of the Future”. In order to keep disruption to a minimum, the restaurant was closed down and a programme of 24/7 continuous working carried out over five weeks. The works included:

  • Strip off old booth cladding and demolish booth walls and coral store glass wall

  • Removal of existing block paviours and ground works to facilitate construction of new slab

  • Lay new slab for booth extensions and freezer slab

  • Installation of new steels for extension and posts for Metsec

  • Installation of new drainage

  • Construction of new Metsec wall for coral

  • Break out door opening to new chiller

  • Extension to exiting Mansard roof

  • Installation of new roof signage

  • Installation of new entrance doors and new fire escape door

  • Installation of new bespoke booth shelf tables made from recycled tables

  • Installation of new internal drainage

  • Electrical/mechanical/data cabling works as required when forming the new layout

  • Construction of new McCafe wall

  • Installation of new chillers

  • Installation of new kitchen equipment

  • New wall and floor tiling

  • New vinyl flooring to Crew room

  • Decoration

  • New bespoke wall boards and graphics to the restaurant area

  • Replacement of restaurant fixtures and fittings

  • Removal of existing and installation of new ceiling grids

  • Installation of a new counter and digital menu boards

  • Removal of existing and installation of new internal signs

  • Reconfiguration of existing fire/smoke alarms and emergency lighting to fit new layout

  • Installation of CCTV

  • New glazed shop fronts

  • Car park works
