McDonalds, Grimsby Laceby

 

This project involved the refurbishment of an existing McDonalds Restaurant to a new livery and design – Restaurant of the Future. In order to keep disruption to a minimum, the restaurant was closed down and a programme of 24/7 continuous working carried out over six weeks. The works included:

  • Demolitions to form new openings for extensions.

  • Removal of existing block paviours and ground works to facilitate new slab at front and side of building

  • Installation of new steels for extension and posts for Metsec

  • Installation of new drainage

  • Construction of new Metsec walls for Fast Forward and booths

  • Construction of extension to freezer

  • Extension to existing Mansard roof

  • Installation of new entrance doors

  • Installation of new lighting

  • Refurbishment of existing toilets

  • Amendments to internal drainage

  • Electrical/Mechanical/Data cabling works as required when forming the new layout

  • Construction of new McCafe wall

  • Installation of new counter

  • Fitting new suspended ceiling in crew room, lobby and kitchen

  • New wall and floor tiling

  • Decoration

  • New graphics to the restaurant area

  • Installation of new kitchen equipment

  • Replacement of restaurant fixtures and fittings

  • Installation of a new counter and digital menu boards

  • Removal of existing & installation of new internal signs.

  • Installation of CCTV

  • Installation of new sound system

  • Installation of new external signage

  • Car park works
