McDonalds, Scunthorpe

 

This project involved the refurbishment of an existing McDonalds Restaurant to a new livery and design – Restaurant of the Future. In order to keep disruption to a minimum, the restaurant was closed down and a programme of 24/7 continuous working carried out over six weeks. The works included:

  • Demolitions to form new openings for extensions
  • Removal of existing block paviours and ground works to facilitate new slab at side of building
  • Installation of new steels for extension and posts for Metsec
  • Installation of new drainage
  • Construction of new Metsec walls for presenter booth, toilets and office wall
  • Extension to existing Mansard roof
  • Installation of new entrance doors and new fire escape door
  • Fit new internal glaze screens
  • Refurbishment of existing toilets
  • Installation of new internal drainage
  • Electrical/Mechanical/Data cabling works as required when forming the new layout
  • Construction of new McCafe wall
  • Installation of new kitchen equipment
  • New wall and floor tiling
  • Decoration
  • New graphics to the restaurant area
  • Replacement of restaurant fixtures and fittings
  • Removal of existing, & installation of new, ceiling grids
  • Installation of a new counter and digital menu boards
  • Removal of existing & installation of new internal signs.
  • Installation of new play frame
  • Reconfiguration of existing fire/smoke alarms & emergency lighting to fit new layout
  • Installation of CCTV
  • New glazed shop fronts
  • Installation of new external signage
  • Car park works
