McDonalds, Teesside Park

 

This project involved the refurbishment of an existing McDonald’s restaurant to a new livery and design “Restaurant of the Future”. In order to keep disruption to a minimum, the restaurant was closed down and a programme of 24/7 continuous working carried out over four weeks. The works included:
  • Demolitions to form new openings for extensions
  • Ground works to form new chiller extensions slab and side-by-side Drive Thru
  • Build new dwarf wall for Trespa panels
  • Fit Trespa panels to new walls
  • Refurbishment works to Mansard roof
  • Installation of new sliding door onto existing frames
  • Installation of new roof signage
  • Spray external windows, booth windows and soffits
  • Fit new internal glazed screens
  • Refurbishment of existing Crew Room toilets
  • Installation of new internal drainage
  • Electrical/mechanical/data cabling works as required when forming the new layout
  • Construction of new McCafe wall
  • Installation of new kitchen equipment
  • New wall and floor tiling
  • Decoration
  • New graphics to the restaurant area
  • Replacement of restaurant fixtures and fittings
  • Removal of existing and installation of new ceiling grids
  • Installation of a new counter and digital menu boards
  • Removal of existing and installation of new internal signs
  • Reconfiguration of existing fire/smoke alarms and emergency lighting to fit new
    layout
  • Installation of CCTV
  • Installation of new external signage
  • New block paving to the perimeter and new islands
  • Installation of new and relocated bollards
  • Car park works
